Princess Margaret Hospital

The hyperbaric chamber is now installed, tested, and operational at the Princess Margaret Hospital, Roseau. The chamber is a Haux Starcom 1500, able to take 4 seated or 2 seated and one lying patient. A staff comprising of emergency nurses, hospital technicians, and Dive Instructors have been trained by the manufacturer to operate and man it. Hyperbaric medical training was conducted under the auspices of the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society, by Dr. Julian Eden of the London Diving Chamber and E-Med.; hyperbaric technical training was undertaken by Haux.
